The following applies for PM4000 DI/DO:
The error codes for short-circuit and wire breakage can each only be reported for a group of
4 channels. The number of the first channel of the group of 4 is entered as the channel
number.

system messages, error handling (Page 179).
Note
The following applies to channel faults 0x5104 to 0x5107 and 0x510C:
If a fault status changes on a channel, the first fault to be reported is retained.
