Line supply voltage monitoring

Line voltage monitoring
The POM power output modules can be operated in TN systems and TT systems. The
permitted line voltage range depends on the POM used.
If the voltage lies outside the admissible range, an error message will be generated (see
section Manufacturer-specific error codes (Page 175)) and heater operation stops. Heating
can only be switched on again when the voltage has returned to the admissible range.
This error is a group error across all possible sources (PM U/I, POM4220 Highend,
POM4320).
The monitored voltage range depends on the types of POM4220 that are used in the rack.
Examples:
● Only POM4220 Flexible
The minimum voltage range depends on the lowest configured rated voltage -10% of one
of the POMs.
● POM4220 Flexible + POM4220 xxx:
The minimum voltage range is 230 V - 10%.
● POM4220 Lowend + POM4220 Midrange phase angle control
The maximum voltage range is 230 V + 10%.
● POM4220 Midrange phase angle control and POM4220 Highend:
The maximum voltage range is 277 V + 8%.
NOTICE
Non-permitted voltage range
Excessive voltage can damage the device.
Comply with the permitted voltage range. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure
compliance with the permitted voltage range.
