5. Commissioning
PLEASE NOTE
Please observe also the switching-on in-
structions in the PLC manual of the control
system.
When the controller is switched on, a compari-
son is automatically made between the ACTUAL
and NOMINAL configurations. For this configura-
tion run it is important that the current supply to
the PLC and that to the connected field bus par-
ticipants must be switched on either simultane-
ously or in the correct sequence.
• Common supply:
If the control system and the valve termi-
nal/valve sensor terminal are supplied with a
common current, they should be switched on
with a common central switch.
• Separate supply:
If the control system and the valve termi-
nal/valve sensor terminal are supplied sepa-
rately with current, the following sequence
should be adhered to when the system is
switched on:
1. Switch on the operating voltage of the val-
ve terminal/valve sensor terminal.
2. Switch on the operating voltage of the
control system.
