Channel−related fault LEDs (only CPX−8DE−D and
CPX−M−16DE−D)
Module CPX−8DE−D has a separate red error LED for each
input; module CPX−M−16DE−D has a combined green/red LED
for status and error display. The error LEDs of the inputs indi
cate a fault at the input caused by short circuit or overload
irrespective of the parameterizing.

Please note
CPX−8DE−D:
If there is a short circuit, all sensor supplies of the
module will be switched off channel−by−channel.
Exception with sub−bases AB−4−M12x2−5POL(−R),
AB−4−HARX2−4POL and CPX−M−4−M12x2−5POL:
On these sub−bases the sensor supplies are grouped
together in pairs. The following are switched off
together: Ix and Ix+1, Ix+2 and Ix+3, ...
The diagnostic messages are therefore only for the
inputs Ix, Ix+2, Ix+4 and Ix+6. The inputs Ix+1, Ix+3, Ix+5
and Ix+7 do not generate a diagnostic message.
CPX−M−16DE−D:
If there is a short circuit, all sensor supplies of the
module will be switched off in pairs. Ix and Ix+1, Ix+2
and Ix+3, ...
The diagnostic meassages are displayed channel−by−
channel for the inputs Ix, Ix+1, Ix+2, ...
