ASSOCIATED SOFTWARE WINSMETER MBC1
Most of the steps explained in the previous sections, can be done through the associated
software, which allows to work in a more comfortable and intuitive way.
Such software can be downloaded from the "Downloads" section of the Tecfluid S.A.

USB cable connection and software installation
Extract the files from the Winsmeter MBC1.zip to a new system folder.
Execute the Setup.exe file and follow the steps for the installation.
In order to connect the converter to a computer an USB cable is required. This cable is type A
at one end and type B at the other, and it is readily available on the market.
The ends of the cables can be seen in the picture.
NOTE: If the USB cable is connected to the instrument when it is battery powered, it remains
always activated, with a power consumption around 6 mA continuously. If the USB cable
remains connected for long periods of time, it can have a negative impact on the battery life.
The first step to make the connection is to open the back cover of the electronic converter.
The USB connector is located on the bottom right.
