3.1.10 Connecting an Analog RGB Monitor

The following explantion connects the PL to a commercially available CRT
monitor, or to the Flat Panel (FP) display.

When connecting the CRT monitor, be sure that it is a standard analog multiscan
VGA compliant type.

Digital's FP-570 monitor can also be connected the the PL unit. For conenction

When the FP is connected to a PL-B910/PL-B911 (PL-B910 series) unit,
the touch panel cannot be used, only the display.
When the FP is used, the user's system or OS must me set up first.
Please perform the following steps.
1) Connect a standard CRT monitor.
2) Perform the specified system setup
3) Set up the OS
4) Designate the Display (Output) device.
This is performed via the Control Panel's [Screen] settings. Open the [Screen
Properties] dialog box and designate the display device as CRT.
If the incorrect display (output) device is designated, simply press the
[ESC] key and cancel the settings. If cancelling is not possible, contact
your local PL distributor for assistance.
5) Shut down the OS.
6) Connect the FP-570.
7) Restart the OS.
