3.1.5 Removing/ Installing the HDD Unit (PL-HD2*0)
• The following insertion/removal procedure is applicable also to the FFD(PL-FF200)
unit and the HDD unit.
• Certain usage limitations apply to the HDD, FFD, Mirror Disk and CD-ROM Drive.
Since the HDD unit is a precision instrument, be sure not to jar or shake
it unnecessarily.

1) Remove the two(2) attachment
screws from the middle Expansion
Slot Cover.
Middle Expansion Slot
2) Grasp the HDD unit's handle and
pull the unit slowly out of the PL.
Be sure you do not damage the unit.
3) Insert the new HDD unit into the
PL's guideways and push it in un-
til its rear connector is securely con-
nected.
4) Fix the unit in place with its two(2)
attachment screws.
Reattach the Expansion Slot cover us-
ing the same steps.
