Open inlet gate completely
Reduce wastewater temperature

Customer Services if necessary
Remove the object, check pump for damage
and replace if necessary
Check ventilation, inlet and pressure lines as
well as covers for air-tightness and eliminate
leaks
Check pump, have it repaired or replaced by
Customer Services if necessary
Check motor and pump to make sure they are
running easily, check system for switching mal-
functions (particularly motor protection switch)
System switched on and off too often on ac-
count of high inlet quantities, clarification with
KESSEL customer services
Check system for switching malfunctions.
Find and eliminate the causes
Check backwater flap (integrated in the pres-
sure outlet connecting piece on every pump),
clean it and replace any damaged parts
Reduce amounts of washing powder and de-
tergents used
Clean the whole system, check grease
discharge
Check cables between the switch unit and level
control for kinks and correct routing (even gra-
dient), correct or replace if necessary
Remove the level control, clean submersible
pipe, check pressure switch and adjust if ne-
cessary
Swap mains wires (malfunction message at the
switch unit)
Check pump wires for correct connection
