  • Page 6 AUTO ENGINE STOP/START OPERATION The fuel-saving Engine Stop/Start system automatically turns off the engine, referred to as an Auto Stop, when the brake pedal is pressed and the vehicle is at a complete stop, if certain operating conditions are met. In Auto Stop mode, the tachometer will read AUTO STOP.

    DRIVER MODE CONTROL /FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE DRIVER MODE CONTROL The Driver Mode Control settings automati- cally adjust various vehicle control systems based on driving preferences, weather and road conditions. The modes are displayed on the Driver Information Center. Rotate the control knob (A) to the right to select a mode.

    DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING – During daytime driving, the system can detect pedes- trians directly ahead up to a distance of approximately 131 ft. and displays an amber indicator. When approaching a detected pedestrian too quickly, a red alert flashes on the windshield and the Safety Alert Seat pulses or rapid beeps sound (if selected).

    CAMERA SYSTEM FEATURES The available camera systems feature up to 8 cameras with up to 15 views to help make it easier to hitch a trailer and provide better visibility while towing.
