Gas Connection Procedures

Services can be routed either directly to the underside of the oven through floor
penetrations or routed under the rear cover panel. Be sure that all gas lines are routed
to maintain access and free space below the oven. Piping should be fixed in
accordance with local regulations.
Incoming gas lines should be sized according to the gas load on the appliance. Check
the data label on the appliance before routing any piping.
All Beech E-Series gas ovens are supplied factory fitted with a 19mm (¾") flare fitting to
the incoming gas manifold. Beech also supply a gas pressure testing point to ensure
correct supply pressure to the system, a pressure regulator and a gas isolation valve.
Beech recommend a 19mm (¾") incoming supply line to maintain adequate pressure to
the burner under load. A shut off valve should also be supplied to allow the system to be
serviced.
NOTE: Connection of the Gas supply line should be carried out by qualified
personnel. Be sure to check for correct gas type and set-up for local gas
supply. Be sure that the lines are purged in accordance with local regulation.
