System Connection

Most Beech E-Series ovens are delivered pre-set from the factory, though should be re-
checked upon connection. Gas pressure should be checked as per the Flame
Calibration section in this manual. The following section explains the installation and
connection procedures for the Gas and Electrical systems.

Contractors Responsibility

The system is supplied with a generic Australian electrical cord and plug for 220-240V
earthed mains electricity at 50Hz. Should this plug (and cord) require changing, a
suitably qualified and certified electrician can replace the cord and plug with a required
plug and cord for your region by disconnecting the supplied cord from the active, neutral
and earth terminals in the cabinet in accordance with local regulation. Refer to the
wiring diagram in this manual.
The system will require a gas supply line for final connection. Please ensure that the
gas supply line is sufficiently sized to handle the gas load.
Refer to the Gas Data plate located inside the lower access door.
All work required for installation must be carried out by approved persons and
comply with all local codes and regulations in force at time of installation.
