Zigbee communication in depth
ZDP services include the following features:
View the neighbor table on any device in the network
n
View the routing table on any device in the network
n
View the end device children of any device in the network
n
Obtain a list of supported endpoints on any device in the network
n
Force a device to leave the network
n
Enable or disable the permit-joining attribute on one or more devices
n
Each service has an assigned cluster ID, and most service requests have an associated response. In
those cases, the client device makes a request, and then the server device sends the response back
to the client device. The cluster ID for the response is exactly the same as the cluster ID for the
request, but with the high bit set. For example, the Network Address Request is cluster 0x0000, and
the Network Address Response is 0x8000.
