The Event log ger
The Event log ger is set up as fol lows:
Ø the Event num ber (Ev.) is shown on the left side of
the first line;
Ø the Event de ta ils (TYPE, IDENT., USER, USER ID,
TIME) are shown on the se cond line.
Using the Event Log ger:
Ø Use A and B to scroll the Events.
Ø Press D to view the Event de ta ils (see abo ve).
Ø Press ESC to step back to the Event Log ger menu.

The di splay will show the de ta ils of each Event. For exam -
ple, Tam per Events show the TYPE and TIME only.

Zone status

This op tion will al low you to view the sta tus of the zo nes
(Standby, Alarm, Tam per, Short-cir cu it or Bypas sed,
and also the Zone vol ta ge le vel). This op tion is im por -
tant du ring in stal la tion and pla ce ment tests.
Do u ble-ba lan ce zo nes can si gnal Short-cir cu it,
Standby, Alarm or Tam per sta tus.
Ba lan ce zo nes can si gnal Short-cir cu it, Standby or
Alarm sta tus. NC and NO zo nes can si gnal Standby or
Alarm only. If a zone is abo ut to chan ge sta tus, the di -
splay may show the in ter me dia te sta tus be fo re sho wing
the fi nal sta tus.

For exam ple, if a Do u ble Ba lan ce zone is chan ging
from Standby to Tam per, the Zone sta tus op tion
may in di ca te Alarm Sta tus for se ve ral se conds be -
fo re fi nally sho wing Tamper status.
To view the Zone sta tus, work ca re fully thro ugh the fol -
lo wing steps.
From the Instal ler menu:

1. Using A or B, se lect the Zone sta tus op tion, then
press ENTER.

2.Using A or B, scroll the zo nes or en ter the zone ID
num ber (three di gits re qui red).
NOTE: Wrong en tries will be si gnal led by an au di ble er -
ror si gnal.

3.Press ENTER to view the sta tus.

4. Press ENTER aga in to view the Zone Re si stan ce (in
ohm, see the exam ple be low).

5. Press ESC to go back to the Instal ler menu.
On the con trary, if you press ENTER it is pos si ble to
check, one at time, the zone with "Vi bra tion" at tri bu te (if
in pro gram ming fase the same zone has been pro gram -
med with "Vi bra tion" at tri bu te and has been pro gram -
med the sen si ti vity and the pul se num ber):

Zone test

This op tion will al low you to test all the par ti tion zo nes
wit ho ut ge ne ra ting alarms. The Test event will be re cor -
ded in the event log ger as: <Alarm - Zone un der test>.
The fol lo wing events may also be re cor ded in the log -
ger: key pad buz zer or ac ti va tion of Out put 1; or key pad
buz zer+ac ti va tion of Out put 1.
From the Instal ler menu:

1.Using A or B, se lect the Zone test op tion, then press
ENTER.

2.Using A or B, se lect Test mode, then press ENTER.
Partition 001
Test ON
3.Using A or B, se lect the Par ti tion the zo nes be long to.
Partition 002
Test ON
4.Using ON or OFF re spec ti vely, to ac ti va te/stop the
test for the par ti tion con cer ned. Press ENTER to run the
test.
Test running...
NOTE: The Zone sta tus (Acti va ted or Re sto red)
will be re cor ded in the Event Log ger.
5.Press ESC to go back to the Instal ler menu
