2. Fix the Mo du le to the base of the con trol unit using
the screws sup plied, ma king sure it is cor rectly ali -
gned with the screw an chor ho les (144).
3. Con nect the Mo du le con nec tor (130) to the con trol
unit se rial port (143) using the PC-Link ca ble sup -
plied (140).
4. Con nect con nec tor (132) to the LAN using an
Ether net ca ble.

Use a ca te gory 5 (or bet ter) shiel ded Ether net ca -
ble (STP or FTP).
5. Whe re pre sent, con nect the [OC] ter mi nal to ter mi -
nal block (134).
6. Con nect ter mi nals [+V] and [M] on the ter mi nal
block (134) to the cor re spon ding ter mi nals [+B4]
and [M] on the con trol unit mot her bo ard (142).
7. Re con nect the con trol unit to the po wer supply.
8. Pro gram the K-NET Mo du le as de scri bed in the
"Pro gram ming" sec tion of the K-NET ma nual.

1. Re mo ve all po wer from the Con trol pa nel (Ma ins
and bat tery).
2. Re mo ve the jum per 21 (M).
3. Wait at le ast 20 se conds.
4. Re pla ce the jum per 21 (M).

zo nes — 0 Standby; 1 = Alarm or Tam per.
