7. Assign the Key pad to the par ti tions (re fer to "Ena -
bling Par ti tions and A, B, C and D Mode" un der "Using
the Key pad"), then press ENTER.

8. Enter the ID num ber of the User Code to be used for
Fast Arming, then press ENTER. The bot tom line of the
di splay will show the User Code la bel. To di sa ble Fast
Arming, en ter 000. The bot tom line of the di splay will
show the word "None".

9. Du ring standby sta tus, the first eight po si tions on the
bot tom line (in di ca ted by num bers 1 thro ugh 8 on the
frontpla te) will show the par ti tion sta tus.
Each key pad can be ena bled on up to thirty-two par ti -
tions, you can se lect the par ti tions that will be shown on
the di splay via the Di spla yed Par ti tions op tion.

The par ti tions must be se lec ted in suc ces si ve or -
der, the re fo re, if par ti tion no. 5 is se lec ted first, par -
ti tions 1 thro ugh 4 CANNOT be selected.
Using C or D, se lect the po si tion , then, using A and B,
se lect the par ti tion that will be shown (or "None").

Re a ders can be used to ma na ge the system (Arming,
Di sar ming, etc.), or to di splay the sta tus of the Con trol
pa nel events.
If the 3 LED Mo ni tor op tion is se lec ted, the Re a der will
be able to di splay the sta tus of up to three events but will
be UNAVAILABLE for system ma na ge ment).
If the 3 LED op tion is se lec ted, the Re a der will be able
to ma na ge the system (Arming, Arming Type A and
Type B, Di sar ming
