If you have two laser printers, leave one as originally set (Unit 7)
and address the other as Unit 6 (move SW1 to the ON position, and
leave SW2 and SW4 OFF), for example. Actually, you can assign
any address to a laser printer, as long as you do not have another
DMA device (laser printer, hard disk) assigned to that address.
8. Replace the controller's top cover, and reconnect the controller
to the computer and printer.
Warning:
If you perform any operation or modification to the inside
of your SLMC804 Controller other than setting the DIP switches,
Atari Corporation reserves the right to disclaim warranty liability for
your SLMC804 Controller and SLM804 Laser Printer, or for any other
adversely affected component in your system.
