Residual-Toner Container
As the printer prints, residual toner is discarded as excess. It
collects in the residual-toner container.
To install the new residual-toner container, follow these steps:
1. Open the top cover without releasing the drum and hopper.
2. Remove the old residual-toner container. Seal it with the tape
provided in the toner kit. Immediately dispose of the container.
Never reuse the toner in the residual-toner container.

3. Put the new residual-toner container in place. The hole at the
top of the container should be nearest the front of the printer.
Note: The residual-toner container must be installed in order for
th e printer to operate.
4.
Close the top cover.
