Print Density Control
At the back of the printer, next to the drum control, is the density
control. The density control allows you to darken or lighten the
printed characters. Move the control to the right to darken the print.
Move the control to the left to lighten the print.
The Control Panel
Though most of the time you'll be using your computer to tell your
printer what to do, the printer itself is equipped with five indicators
on its control panel that light up when it has something to tell you .

The Ready indicator lights up when the printer is ready to print.
The indicator is dark while the printer is warming up or when a
major error occurs (such as a paper jam).
