Cleaning Pad
To replace the cleaning pad, follow these steps:
Warning:
The fuser and the surrounding felt-covered surfaces
inside the printer get extremely hot whenever power to the printer
is switched on . You should wait at least two hours after switching off
the printer before you perform any procedu re near these surfaces.
1. Remove the cleaning pad from the plastic bag. Make sure that
the white felt pad fits snugly in its frame .
2. Open the printer's top cover without releasing the drum and
toner hopper.
3. Remove the old cleaning pad, and replace it with the new pad.

4. Close the top cover.
Cleaning the Drum and Paper Chargers
You should clean the drum and paper chargers every time you
replace the toner. The drum charger electrostatically charges the
drum to attract the toner. The paper charger electrostatically
charges the paper to attract the toner.
