Connecting the Controller
The SLMC804 Controller allows your ST Computer and SLM804
Laser Printer to communicate with one
another.
The printer will
not operate properly without the controller.
To connect the controller to the printer and computer, follow these
steps:
1. Locate the controller packed inside the accessories assembly.
Remove its packing materials.
2. Make sure all parts of your ST Computer system are switched
off.
3. Plug the cable permanently fixed in the back of the controller
into the port marked
"Hard
Disk" on the back panel of your
computer. (If you have a hard disk drive, you must disconnect
the hard disk's cable from the computer while you do this.)
