4. Replace the paper charger. Be sure that it snaps securely in
place, held snugly by its harness on the left side, and that the red
dot on the right side of the charger matches the red dot on the
charger holder.
5. Close the top cover.
Cleaning the Paper Path
You should clean the paper path every time you replace the toner
or whenever you notice toner smudges or spills inside the printer.
To clean the paper path , follow these steps:
1. Open the top cover without releasing the drum and toner hopper.
2. With a soft, dry cloth, clean the metal plate at the front of the
printer and the ribbed plastic well at the back of the printer.
3. Close the top cover.
