Instruct your
software
program to begin
printing.
3. Insert the paper
in the
printer
through the manua
l
feed
slot,
making sure that the
left
edge of
the
paper
is flush with the
manual-feed paper guide and that
the
side you
want printed on
is facing
up.
The leading edge of the paper will be
the top
of
the printed
page.
Printed-Side Up
Note: Your printer will accept manually fed envelopes
.
However,
do not use envelopes with metal or string clasps.
Printing on Two Sides
As with a plain-paper photocopier, your Atari SLM804 Laser Printer
is capable of printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. When using
automatic feed, the side to be printed on
faces
down
in
the cassette,
and the top of the page is nearest
the
front of
the
cassette. When
using manual feed,
the
side to be printed on
faces
up as you insert
the paper, and the top of the page is
the
edge
inserted
into the
printer first.
To print on
two
sides, follow the directions above, and then reverse
the paper for printing on
the
second side.
