Connecting the media gateway to the main distribution
frame
Once the main distribution frame (MDF) is installed and wired, you must connect the media gateways to
the MDF.
Run excess cables on an upper cable ladder (if the MDF connectors are on top) or route them through a
cable slack manager that is placed next to the MDF. For more information, see
