HAPTER
LEANING
The Sensica™ UO System/OR should be cleaned between patients and anytime the surface
becomes contaminated. Table 7 identifies the components of the system that require cleaning and
the appropriate cleaning method.

Cleaning Method
•
Power OFF the Sensica UO System, if possible.
•
Rub a soft cloth (such as a microfiber cloth) in a
circular motion to remove smudges.
•
If disinfection is required, use a germicide wipe such
as "Sani-Cloth" according to manufacturer's
instructions. If a film appears on the screen over time,
use a soft cloth wet with water to remove film.
•
DO NOT spray cleaner directly on the touchscreen.
•
Wipe down the exterior surfaces of system with a
sponge or cloth dampened with warm water and a
mild detergent.
•
If disinfection is required, use a germicide wipe such
as "Sani-Cloth" according to manufacturer's
instructions.
•
DO NOT use bleach, chlorine or other harsh
chemicals on the ring interface area of the stand
control unit.
•
DO NOT immerse or submerge the system when
cleaning.
