To reset the catheter time, use the up and down arrows. If appropriate, the time can be reset to "0
Days 0 Hours." Then touch "New Time." The display will return to the standard UO monitoring
screen with the new Catheter Use Time indicated.
To cancel resetting the Catheter Use Time, simply touch, "Cancel." The display will return to the
standard UO monitoring screen with no changes.

8.1.4 Action Selection: Add/Subtract Fluid

This action allows for 1) adding extracted urine to the recorded volume (such as when urine has
been extracted for culturing before it enters the bag) or 2) subtracting exogenous fluid from the UO
total (such as when sterile saline has been injected during a procedure).
After touching the "Add/Subtract Fluid"
action menu selection, two calculators
will appear over the standard display
screen. Type in the desired amount to
either add or subtract from the current
volume. When one of the calculators is
selected, the other one will "gray out."
