HAPTER EW ATIENT ETUP
To set up a new patient, tap the new patient button (Figure 17).

6.1 Operator PIN Entry (Optional)

If required by the administrator, enter a valid operator PIN using the numeric touch pad. To remove
an incorrectly entered number, touch the backspace symbol. Touch "Submit" when done. For
information regarding setup of operator PINs, refer to Chapter 15.

6.2 New Patient Entry Screen

Use the alphanumeric keyboard to enter desired patient information. The only required data field is
the Patient ID, which will appear on the monitor display. No other patient identifiers are on the
standard viewing screen. Once desired data is entered, touch "Submit." A screen will appear with
the submitted data for confirmation that the patient information is correct.
