HAPTER PECIAL CTIONS

8.1 Action button drop down selections

Touching the "Actions" button offers the following special functions: 1) Set Patient Alerts, 2)
Discharge Patient, 3) Edit Catheter Use Time, 4) Add/Subtract Fluid, 5) Edit Patient Weight, and 6)
Edit Specific Gravity (optional).

8.1.1 Action Selection: Set Patient Alerts

To modify alert settings during a UO monitoring session, touch the "Set Patient Alerts" action
selection. This will bring up the Alerts Setting Screen. (See Chapter 9.) After modifying the alert
settings as desired, touch the "Save and Return" button, and the display will return to the standard
UO monitoring screen.

8.1.2 Action Selection: Discharge Patient

To end a monitoring session, touch the "Discharge Patient" action selection. A screen will appear to
confirm the patient discharge. If the "Yes" button is touched, the monitoring session will end and the
New Patient and Settings Selections Screen will be displayed. If the "No" button is touched to
cancel the discharge, the display will return to the standard UO monitoring screen.

8.1.3 Action Selection: Edit Catheter Use Time

To change the "Catheter Use Time" display, touch the "Edit Catheter Use Time" action selection.
(See Figure 31.) This can be used when a catheter is replaced or to change the Catheter Use Time
if Sensica UO monitoring has begun after the catheter has been in place for a period of time.
