Use the backspace key to correct input. Touch "Enter" when completed. If the wrong calculator has
been selected, simply touch the other one to activate it. Touch "Cancel" to exit the screen. After
touching "Enter" or "Cancel," the display will return to the standard UO monitoring screen.

8.1.5 Action Selected: Edit Patient Weight

To enter or change the patient weight, touch the "Edit Patient Weight" action selection. The Patient
Weight Entry Screen will be displayed. Use the up and down arrows to enter weight. Touch "Save
and Enter" to save weight or touch "Cancel" to exit, and the display will return to the standard UO
monitoring screen.
Note: The measurement system defaults to kilograms. To enter the weight in pounds, touch the
kilogram window, and the unit measure will change to pounds.

8.1.6 Action Selected: Edit Specific Gravity (optional)

This action will be available only if the administrator has selected it in the administrative settings
screen.
To enter or change the patient's urine specific gravity, touch the "Edit Specific Gravity" action
selection. The Patient Specific Gravity Screen will be displayed. Use the up and down arrows to
enter value from 1.000 to 1.060. Touch "Save and Enter" to save specific gravity or touch "Cancel"
to exit, and the display will return to the standard UO monitoring screen.
Note: For the most accurate urine volume recording for all types of patients, the default specific
gravity in the Sensica™ UO System for ICU is 1.015. Touch "Set to Default" to return to this value.
