Prerequisites
HPE Edgeline Wireless WAN 4G/LTE EM7565 Wide Temperature option kit installed
SIM card installed
Windows installed on host
LTE drivers downloaded and available
Procedure
1. If needed, open a Remote Console session to the Windows host OS.
2. In the host Windows OS, navigate to the driver setup file and Run as administrator.
This enumerates the driver in Windows Device Manager.
3. Open Windows Device Manager and verify the Sierra Wireless card is shown in the Modems section.
4. Right click the Sierra modem entry and select Properties.
5. Click the Modem tab in the Properties window and note the COM port.
NOTE: This port may change when the host system is rebooted.
6. Using a terminal program, connect to the COM port found in the previous step, in a serial session. Set the serial session
configuration to 115200n8.
7. In the terminal session, enter the command ati1 and record the results to get the settings relevant to completing the LTE
configuration in iSM.
The settings you will need include:
APN
IMEI
IMSI
IP
