W hile m ost neoVI settings are software program m able a few are set with hardware. The following item s are set in hardware: 1) the term ination resistors for low speed fault tolerant CAN, 2) the pull up resistors for the
UART/ISO /Keyword 2k network , 3) the J1850 PW M LBCC network , and 4) Lin Master Resistor. Table 1 and Figure 1 ex plain how to m ak e these settings.

Instructions
Insert two 0.25 W resistors end to end in the sock ets. See
Low Speed Fault Tolerant CAN network
for details.
Insert two 0.25 W resistors end to end with desired pull up values (510
O hm s are the factory default)
Insert two 0.5 W resistors end to end with the desired term ination. (160
O hm s are the factory default)
Insert a 0.25 resistor end to end in the sock et. This resistor is used as the
m aster resistor. (510 ohm s is the factory default)
