Basic Safety - STO
DANGER!
With the "Safe torque off" (STO) function, no "emergency switching‑off" in terms with
EN 60204−1 can be executed without additional measures. There is no isolation between the
motor and inverter, no service switch or maintenance switch!
Possible consequence: death or severe injuries
▶ "Emergency switching‑off" requires electrical isolation, e.g. by a central mains contactor.
