Trouble during Printing

This section describes how to solve printing problems.

Symptoms
Can the printer be con-
firmed with CentreWare
Internet Services?
Is the power switch of the
machine turned on?
Is the print mode [Offline]?
Is the network cable of the
machine disconnected?
Has any error occurred on
the machine?
Are the IP address and Sub-
net Mask set correctly?
Has an interrupt operation
been performed?
Is the machine in the scan
mode?
Is the specified media size
loaded correctly?
Check
Check the printer by displaying [Status] on
the CentreWare Internet Services.

Turn the power switch on.

Select [Online] in the [Print Mode] screen.

Connect the network cable of the machine.
Check the error message, and follow the
instructions to solve the problem.

Set the correct IP address and Subnet
Mask.

Cancel the interrupt operation by pressing
the <Interrupt> button on the control panel.
Printing is not available during the scan
mode (while storing data in the mailbox).
Outputting starts when all of the docu-
ments have been scanned.
Load the correct size media in accordance
with the message displayed and print
again.
