Allows you to print a sequential control number
lightly on the background of each copy set.

• This option is invalid when [Force watermark-
Copy] is set to [On] with [System Set-
tings]>[Common Settings]>[Watermark]. For
details, refer to "Watermark" (P.217).
• Any Reduce/Enlarge setting will not affect the
size of Watermark.
Displays the [Control Number]
screen.
Prints no control number.
Prints the control number you
have set. Enter the start number
of the control number in the range
of 1 to 999.
Displays the [Text] screen, where
you can select the text to be
printed.
Prints no text.
Prints the text you select. You can
select the text string used for
Watermark. There are nine preset
strings you can select.
The available strings are: [Copy
Prohibited], [Copy], [Duplicate],
[RESTRICTED], [TOP SECRET],
[IMPORTANT], [To Be Kept
Within Premises], [For Internal
Use Only], and [CONFIDENTIAL].
• You can set additional Watermark-related conditions such as the text size and density,
etc., with System Settings. For details, refer to, "Watermark" (P.217).
Selecting this checkbox prints the user account number on the copies to
identify who printed them.
Note • [User Account Number] is the number (user administration number)
registered for the user with the authentication feature.
・ [User Account Number] is not displayed when the authentication fea-
ture is not used.

Selecting this checkbox prints the date and time at which the copying was
started.

Selecting this checkbox prints the serial number of the machine. This identi-
fies the printer outputting the copy.
