Loading Media

This section describes how to load roll paper and cut paper.

Loading Roll Media/Trimming Roll Media

Load Roll 1, Roll 2, Roll 3, or Roll 4 in the roll tray.
When loading media, ensure to trim the lead edge.
WARNING
This product uses roll printing paper. Be careful not to drop it as it is heavy and may
cause injuries.
Important • When setting the roll media, take care not to pinch your fingers in the machine

Pull out the Roll Tray for Roll 1, Roll 2, Roll 3, or
Roll 4.

Remove the shaft of the roll media from the
machine.
Note
• When removing the tape of the roll media, make sure that the adhesive of the tape is com-
pletely removed. When the adhesive gets inside of the machine, the print quality may
decrease.
• When changing the media types, size, or weight, ensure to change the media settings
before proceeding operations.
For setting method: "Media Settings" (P.44)
• When trimming the lead edge without replacing
roll media, go to step 7.
• You can set the roll in front of the tray.
