1/ PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

1.1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The MSP8020-series MSP-Nodes are processor nodes for the SYMKLOUD MS2900-Series platform. Nine MSP-Nodes can be
installed in each MS29xx and each MSP-Node has two CPU engines (servers). When used with two Hubs, each server
supports two 1GbE ports.
MSP802x references throughout this guide refer to any variants in this series as described in
Table 2: MSP-Node key components per server, unless specified otherwise.
MS29xx references throughout this guide refer to any variants of the SYMKLOUD-MS Series
Platform (e.g. MS2900, MS2910), unless specified otherwise.
MSH89xx references throughout this guide refer to any variants of the SYMKLOUD-MS
Series HubNodes (e.g. MSH8900, MSH8910), unless specified otherwise.
An OS must be loaded on each server for the system to be fully operational.
