4/ CONFIGURING MSP-NODES

4.1. MSP-NODE RESET

To reset a server on an MSP-Node:
From the server
Send a break sequence (ctrl-break)
From the SMWI
Navigate to the target server
Under Power Commands, select Reset.
From the ShMC CLI (impacts both Servers)
ipmitool>
ipmitool> set targetaddr
ipmitool> power reset
From an IOL remote PC (impacts both Servers)
ipmitool H <BMC IP address>
OR
ipmitool H <ShMC IP address >
All tasks described in this section reset both servers except the serial port
For the
specific, e.g. with PuTTY, type Ctrl-break or use menu> Special command> Break.

-U admin P admin power reset
-U admin P admin t
serial console connection, the key-combination may be terminal emulator
