Replacing the solenoid valve block

6.26.1
Removing the solenoid valve block

Get a cloth ready for catching and mopping up
calibrating oil.
i
To ensure sufficient working space when removing
and installing the solenoid valve, we recommend
also removing the neighboring solenoids.

1. Remove the valve support (see section 6.22.1).
2. Remove the solenoid valve block (item 1) from the
valve support.

Installing the solenoid valve block
Install the solenoid valve block in the reverse order.
Tightening torque: 15 Nm.

1. Remove the solenoid valve block from the EPS 708
(see section 6.26.1). Then proceed as described in
this section.
2. Remove the hexagon nut (item 1).
3. Remove the solenoid (item 2).
4. Install a new solenoid.
5. Install the solenoid valve block in the EPS 708 in the
reverse order.
