Switching device in boost is defective. ●

Input current detection circuit mal-

Large grid harmonics.

Solution
Check all switching device in boost.
Check the driver curcuit for boost
inside the solar inverter.
Check input current detection circuit.
Check the insulation of DC inputs.
Check the capacitance (+ <-> GND
& - <->GND), must < 2.5 µF. Install a
external transformer if necessary.
Check boost driver & boost choke.
Check the detection circuit inside
solar inverter.
Check the utility waveform. Grid con-
nection of inverter needs to be far
away from non-linear load if neces-
sary.
Check all switching devices in inverter
stage.
Check the detection circuit inside the
solar inverter.
Check the driver circuit for boost
inside solar inverter.
