Alternate Chest Lead
Acquire a standard 12-lead ECG according to the "Resting ECG Lead Placement &
Coding Chart" on pg. 5-3.
For the Alternate Chest Lead ECG, retain the placement of the limb sensors. Reposition
the chest sensors using 6 of the placements described in the table below. Configure
leads as desired. See the table below for a sample lead configuration.
NOTE: The lead configuration for the Alternate Chest Lead is
completely customizable. The example below is only one of many
possible lead configurations.
NOTE: Lead configuration may also contain any of the standard
chest leads, if desired.
