MEMORY SEAT
*MEMORY SWITCH INOPERATIVE —
TEST
5 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
6 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Memory Set Switch connector.
Disconnect the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module C1 connector.
Measure the resistance of the Memory Set Switch Sense wire between the MHSMM
connector and the Memory Set Switch connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module.
→ Repair the open Memory Set Switch Sense wire.
No
7 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Memory Set Switch connector.
Disconnect the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module C1 connector.
Measure the resistance of the Memory Position 2 Switch Sense wire between the
MHSMM connector and the Memory Set Switch connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module.
→ Repair the open Memory Position 2 Switch Sense wire.
No
8 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Memory Set Switch connector.
Disconnect the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module C1 connector.
Measure the resistance of the Memory Position 1 Switch Sense wire between the
MHSMM connector and the Memory Set Switch connector.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
Yes → Replace the Memory Heated Seat Mirror Module.
→ Repair the open Memory Position 1 Switch Sense wire.
No
ACTION
Replace the Memory Set Switch.
