P0532-A/C PRESSURE SENSOR LOW —
TEST
3 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Pressure Sensor harness connector.
With the DRBIII , monitor the A/C Pressure Sensor voltage.
Turn the ignition on.
Is the voltage above 0.6 of a volt?
Yes → Replace the A/C Pressure Sensor.
→ Go To 4
No
4 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Disconnect the PCM harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the A/C Pressure Sensor Signal circuit
in the A/C Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Is the resistance below 100 ohms?
Yes → Repair the short to ground in the A/C Pressure Sensor Signal
→ Go To 5
No
5 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Disconnect the PCM harness connector.
Measure the resistance between the A/C Pressure Sensor Signal circuit and the
Sensor ground circuit in the A/C Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Is the resistance below 100 ohms?
Yes → Repair the short to the Sensor ground circuit in the A/C Pressure
→ Go To 6
No
6 NOTE: Before continuing, check the PCM harness connector terminals for
corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Repair as necessary.
If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
Repair
7 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the A/C Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Disconnect the PCM harness connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the 5 Volt Supply circuit in the A/C
Pressure Sensor harness connector.
Is the resistance below 100 ohms?
Yes → Repair the short to ground in the 5 Volt Supply circuit.
→ Go To 8
No
ACTION
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 2.

Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 2.
Sensor Signal circuit.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 2.
Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module in accor-
dance with the Service Information.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 2.
Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER - 2.
