A.1.4 Console Cable
The console cable connects the console port on the USG to the COM port on a PC. Learn
about the structure and specifications of the console cable before you purchase or make
console cables for the USG.
A console cable is an 8-wire shielded cable. The RJ45 connector connects to the console port
on the USG, and the DB9 connector connects to the COM port on a PC.
