8 Mechanical Installation

8.1 Safety

See chapter 2 Safety for general safety instructions.
WARNING
Pay attention to the requirements that apply to
integration and field mounting kit. Observe the
information in the list to avoid serious injury or
equipment damage, especially when installing large
units.
NOTICE
The frequency converter is cooled by means of air
circulation.
To protect the unit from overheating, it must be ensured
that the ambient temperature does NOT exceed the

maximum temperature stated for the frequency
converter and that the 24-hour average temperature is
NOT exceeded. Locate the maximum temperature in
chapter 6.2.3 Ambient Conditions. The 24-hour average
temperature is 5 °C below the maximum temperature.
