Slope Estimate Gage Instructions
To help estimate the angle of a slope align the thick black bar with a known vertical surface such as a building or utility
pole. Fold the paper until the folded edge aligns with the slope. Estimate the slope from the gradients noted on the
diagram. See page 36 for permissible operating slopes.
