by start assistance systems should not
prompt you to take risks.

tion of the ground or the road and to
weather and traffic conditions.
The start assistance system cannot keep

the vehicle stationary in all conditions on a
gradient or cause it to brake on steep
downhill gradients, e.g. if the road is slip-
pery or icy.
