Origin of the identification data

6.12.1

Identification data for IPCs

Where does the identification data for IPCs come from?
In the case of the faceplate for IPC objects, the identification data is read from the device via
an SNMP connection.
The device must be configured in the SNMP OPC Server of the maintenance station for this.
These data are prepared for display on the maintenance station with the "Export tags for
WinCC" function.
The following table shows the assignment of the identification data displayed on the MS to the
origin.
