Press the transmission screen key.
Press the do both fwd and reverse screen key.
Wait until the VNA beeps four times indicating that it has completed the task.
Press the isolation screen key.
Press the omit isolation screen key.
Press done 2 port cal screen key.
Set the VNA's averaging to off.
Save the reference plane cal by pressing the [save recall] key then the [save state]
key.
You may change name if you wish.
Press the [scale reference] key. Then set the scale to 1 dB per division and the
reference position for 7 divisions.
Set reference value for 0 dB.
Press the [measure] key.
Press the s21 screen key.
Ensure s21 response on screen is flat (about ±0.1 dB) out to 10 GHz.
Position 1134B probe conveniently to make quality connections on the PV
fixture.
Ensure resistors at the probe tip are reasonably straight and about 0.1 inches
apart.
