■If You Hear a Busy Sound (Puu Puu
Puu) from the Handset When Calling
....The manager's room may be making a call. Wait for a
while and then try calling again
■Receiving a Call from a Door Intercom
(with an Alarm Display and Remote Test
Terminal) or Color Camera Foyer Unit
.... You will hear a chime (pin-pon) from the handset and
the Indoor Master.
.... The source of the call will flash in the middle of the display.
.... If the telephone handset on the Indoor Master or
Extension is replaced and then the responding party
picks up the handset again, you can talk to the Door
Intercom (with an alarm display and remote test
terminal) or Color Camera Foyer Unit.
■Manager's Room Icon
.... When the manager's room icon is displayed, it
indicates that there was a call from the manager's
room. Call back to find out what it was. (Refer to page
67.)
■Example Telephone Procedure: Receiving
a Call from the Manager's Room

You will hear the call sound (lu lu lu).

2 Touch the Manager Button on the Call
Menu Display.
● If there is more than one manager's room,
buttons corresponding to the manager's rooms
will appear on the display.
The Call Display will appear and a low call sound

● You will hear a "Tsu-tsu" sound from the handset 10
seconds before the call is cut off.
4 Replace the handset when
you are finished.

■Public Announcements and Emergency
Announcements from the Manager's
Room
.... You will hear a "poro-poro" call sound followed by the
announcement from the speaker and Expansion Speaker.
.... You cannot talk while an announcement is being made. The
volume of the sound will be high.
.... If there is an emergency announcement while you are
talking, the call will be cut off to announce the emergency.

● About 1 minute* after you pick up the handset,
the display and call will be automatically cut off.
* If the talk time is set to longer than 3 minutes
from the Central Controller, the display will
automatically disappear after about 3
minutes, but the call can be continued.
● You will hear a "Tsu-tsu" sound from the
handset 10 seconds before the call is cut off.
Hands Free...
● About 1 minute after you press the Hands-free
Button, the display and call will be
automatically cut off.
● A "tsu-tsu" sound will be heard from the Indoor
Master 10 seconds before the call is cut off.
Touch the or Button to adjust the

(The volume cannot be adjusted for hands-free calling.)
