Notice ●After about 1 minute,* the earthquake alarm message will stop automatically and the monitor display and stop
alarm indicator will turn OFF.
* The system configuration can be set to automatically stop the earthquake alarm message, monitor display,
and stop alarm indicator after a specified time that estimates arrival of the earthquake.
Results of an Earthquake with Shindo 5 Weak
Example:
● Stacked ceramic tableware can be heard rattling.
● Tableware next to each other knock together and make noise.
● Heavy objects begin to fall.

Prepare for the shock. Take
appropriate escape actions,
such as wearing slippers
and hiding under a table.
Stopping Earthquake
Alarm Messages
Press the Stop Alarm Button.
The stop alarm indicator will
turn OFF.
The monitor display will
not disappear.
