Device bay numbering

All device bays in the frame are numbered in consecutive order from lowest to highest, from left to right
from top to bottom, as observed by a user looking directly at the frame.
Devices larger than half-height (multi-bay devices) are numbered according to the lowest device bay
number that the multi-bay device occupies.
For an even number of device modules, they must be installed next to each other between sets of vertical
partitions if all device bays in the frame are to be used.
For an odd number of single-wide full-height device modules, an even number must be installed next to
each other between each vertical partition, and the odd module must be installed in device bay 2 if all
device bays in the frame are to be used.
The device bay numbering is available on the Information pull tabs.
